Centre for Music and Science

The University of Cambridge has just launched a new research centre: the Centre for Human-Inspired Artificial Intelligence (CHIA). CHIA will be bringing together researchers from many parts of the University, including engineering and mathematics, philosophy, and social sciences. The goal is to investigate how human and machine intelligence can be combined in technologies that best contribute to social and global progress. The CMS is very happy to be included within this initiative and to contribute its own perspectives on music cognition and artificial intelligence.
