The Music Cognition & Culture (MCC) group, led by Peter Harrison and Harin Lee, investigates the psychological and cultural foundations of musical experience. Our research spans music perception, emotion, memory, and cross-cultural variation, combining experimental methods with computational modelling to build a rigorous understanding of how humans engage with music.
