Centre for Music and Science
A recent graduate, having studied the undergraduate music Tripos at Christ’s College, Cambridge, Charlotte has a particular interest in the area of music and science. Specifically the effects of listening to background music on cognitive processing ability, whilst incorporating neuro-scientific approaches and applying findings to music therapy. These ideas will form the basis of her research project this year which is supervised by Prof. Ian Cross and Dr Dina Kronhaus.
Alongside her academic studies Charlotte is a keen clarinettist and singer, as well as composer, who has played and sung in a wide range of ensembles during her time in Cambridge.
